Our Carmel Valley location offers a 3,585 sq. ft. outdoor space for 100 guests that is ideal for all types of gatherings. The Community Shared Space with over 300 bookings annually is the most convenient event venue to host baby showers, baptisms, birthday parties, bridal showers, celebrations of life, ceremonies, graduations, rehearsal dinners, and weddings.

Located in beautiful and sunny Carmel Valley Village through a private walkway leading to a rustic double gate entry is the open and spacious Community Shared Space. We offer a convenient, flexible and affordable way to host events. Offering ample free all-day parking and easy access off Carmel Valley Road on the corner of Pilot Road and Del Fino Place.

The Community Shared Space at Blue Fox Cellars in Carmel Valley can be used for various types of private and public events, meetings, workshops, seminars and much more. We want our guests to feel free and comfortable to use the space to meet their needs.

Where are you located at?
Our Carmel Valley location in Carmel Valley Village. Offering all-day free parking in the center of the quaint village. Located only 20 minutes from our Barnyard Location. Find Us
What are the available hours?
You can book from 8:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Sunday, including Holidays. Access is provided via remote entry, allowing you full control of the space.
Is there free parking?
Yes, we offer FREE all-day parking within the property and also street parking. Reserve street parking is available for an additional fee, please contact us to learn more.
Are there bathrooms?
Yes, there are two bathrooms located inside the main building of the tasting room and will remain available for the duration of your reserved time.
What is ProCleaning?
With ProCleaning all you have to do is dispose of the trash and decorations in the receptacles provided. ProCleaning does not include breakdown and wiping tables and chairs used.
What does setup and breakdown include?
We offer these services as an optional add-on. The setup is done prior to the start of your reservation time and the breakdown after the end of your booking so that way you have more time to spend on your event.

Setup: You pick a layout or create your own and we will setup the tables and chairs prior to the start of your booking.

Breakdown: After your booking ends, we will wipe down and put away the tables and chairs.
What is the guest capacity?

What is a private event?
A private event is a gathering of guests that are invited and not advertised or promoted to the public.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, we allow well behaved pets. We ask that you restrain pets to the venue area only. Also, please cleanup after your pets or additional cleaning fees may apply at our discretion.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No due to their licensing limitations they are not allowed to have outside alcohol. All alcohol that will be consumed during the event must be purchased from Blue Fox Cellars. They offer wine, beer and wine based spirits by the bottle, glass or you can pre-purchase a package. Event insurance is required if you and/or your guests are consuming alcohol.
Blue Fox Cellars also welcomes you to contact them directly for a wine tasting to select wines for your event and learn more about their package offerings.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you can bring your own food. You can get it from your favorite restaurant or hire a caterer of your choosing.
Is there water or a sink?
Yes, a sink with access to cold water is provided for your use.
Can I hire my own vendors?
Yes, you can hire any vendor you like as long as they meet our vendor requirements. We recommend that you provide the below link to any vendor you would like to hire prior to hiring them. Our Marketplace is a free service we provide to more easily connect our customer with local and nationwide businesses.

Can I hire a food truck?
Yes, one food truck is allowed. Food truck provider must meet all of our vendor and county requirements. Additional deposit and trash fee may be required.
Can I have a bounce house?
Yes, bounce houses are allowed. They must meet all of vendor and insurance requirements. Air blower noise must not exceed 85db when combined with other sound elements within the event.
Decorations & Photo Booth
Make it your own! You can decorate the venue to fit your theme, layout and liking.
DJ/Live Music & Dancing
Yes you can, its a celebration! Please be respectful of our neighbors. Music must not exceed 85db (example a train or truck passing learn more). A decibel meter can be provided to maintain compliance. All music live or amplified must end no later than 9pm.
Is event insurance required?
We do require that event insurance to be provided prior to your reservation date if you and/or your guests are consuming alcohol. Also, may be required for public events. Get a free quote online from our partner. Click here to learn more.
Security surveillance
For your safety we provide 24/7 surveillance cameras that only record video and not sound. Cameras cannot be turned off. Tampering with alarm system panel, components or cameras will result in immediate expulsion without any prorated amount to be refunded.
Is there a Refundable Security Deposit?
Yes. An amount of $150 is charged to the card on file after reservation is completed and prior to your reservation date to cover any accidentals, late fees, damages or other costs incurred by us that may arise from your booking.
What is the refund and rescheduling policy?
Packages are non-refundable. There is a rescheduling fee. Rescheduling option, not refund, is available at no cost to client only if there is a power outage, access to venue is hindered through all entry points or natural disaster affecting the location of the venue.
The rescheduling fee for any cancellation will be charged and the credit will be valid for 12 months from cancellation date. Credit will have no cash value and cannot be applied towards event insurance, security deposit, event monitor or other 3rd party add-on options.

60 days to day of reservation 90% fee of total booking amount & fees paid will be discounted (10% credit provided).

90 to 61 days prior to reservation date 75% fee of total booking amount & fees paid (25% credit provided).

90 or more days prior to reservation date 50% of total booking amount & fees paid (50% credit provided).
Must be at least 21 years of age to book. Table linens not included or provided.
Event insurance. Required if serving alcohol and for public events. We reserve the right to require event insurance depending on the type of event at our discretion.
Event Monitor. Required to have an Event Monitor present from 5pm until end of booking time when hosting alcohol. Fee for Event Monitor services is $25 per hour, prorated to the nearest 1/2 hour with a 1 hour minimum. We reserve the right to require an Event Monitor on events not hosting alcohol and may require an earlier start time at our discretion. Public events may be required to have an Event Monitor present for part or the entire duration of the reservation.

All bookings are first come. Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

We reserve the right to refuse and/or cancel any booking at our own discretion for a full refund of the amount paid if applicable.

The Community Share Space assumes no liability or responsibility for any additional expenses incurred, other than those directly charged by and paid to The Community Shared Space for the rental of the event space.

All Package bookings are non-refundable. A rescheduling fee applies for change of date.

Discounts are not redeemable for cash value and proof must be provided to qualify. If proof is not provided discount will not be applied.
