About the Crowd
We wanted to create a safe place for artists, art lovers and filmmakers to gather so we created it.
This group is a continuation of the spirit of the historical “Carmel Crowd” started by George Sterling, Carrie Sterling, Mary Austin and Jack London in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We celebrate creativity and connectivity in film, literature and the arts.
It is founded on the artistic principles that made Carmel at one time the most prolific art community in the world but with a new global emphasis.
